Origin North and South Carolina In its natural state the Venus fly trap can be found in the savanna plains where there are few bushes or trees. it grows surrounded by grasses and by other carnivorous plants such as Sarracenia Drosera Utricularia & Pinguicula on damp soils The flower stalks develop in May or June. Each plant has between one to four, Flowers are white.
